After over 14 years as a licensed massage therapist, and using aromatherapy as a modality in my practice, I have developed a line of Goat Milk and Glycerin soaps that not only smell good but have great benefits! As a massage therapist, I came across many individuals with eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and dry and flaky skin. I felt there was a need to get away from anti-bacterial and other soaps that cause dryness of the skin, which ultimately change the natural ph balance of the skin.
Our handmade soaps are made in small batches here in Gonzales, Louisiana. We incorporate a wonderful combination of moisturizing vegetable oils, essential oils and natural fragrances, with fresh goat milk. Because we make small batches and stamp and cut each bar by hand, we can maintain the highest quality for each bar of soap for you to enjoy. Our goal is to create a wonderful bar of soap to not only nourish and pamper your skin, but also with a scent that makes bath time more relaxing and enjoyable!
What Makes Goat Milk so Special?
Goat Milk contains over 50 nutrients, including the vital vitamins of A, C, B1, B6, B12 and E, minerals, citric acid, amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, enzymes, and a variety of other nutrients that nourish and revitalize dehydrated skin. Vitamin A slows down the effects of aging, prevents brown spots and thickening of the skin, while Zinc contributes to the reconstruction of collagen fibers, encouraging moisture retention and assisting in maintaining your skin's elasticity. You won’t have that tight, dry feeling after showering or bathing, and because our bars are pure and natural, you won’t have that waxy ring left behind in your bathtub!
Why Glycerin?
Glycerin is a humectant, drawing moisture to your skin, allowing it to remain hydrated and soft. Beyond hydrating your skin, glycerin is also known to be a natural remedy for yeast and fungal infections, such as eczema and psoriasis. It is especially good for sensitive skin. Glycerin soap does not contain synthetic ingredients that will cause skin irritations. It keeps your skin looking and feeling healthy and soft.
